A MESSAGE FROM DR. KIRLIN, December 2008
Dear Valued Patient:
I have been caring for patients in the Batesville community for nearly 20 years. I have had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful patients and their families. However, my situation has changed and I have made the extremely difficult decision to close my Batesville office. I will no longer see patients in Batesville after December 12th.
I have enjoyed caring for you and thank you for the trust you’ve placed in me. Going forward, I know you’ll be in good hands because:
· I will continue seeing patients in my office in Blue Ash, Ohio. I see patients on Monday, Tuesday and Friday at that office. I welcome any patient who would like to follow me there. The phone number for this office is 513-751-CARE (2273).
· We have an office at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. Three of my trusted colleagues will be available to care for you. On Mondays and Wednesdays, medical oncologist/hematologist Louis Schroder MD, will see patients. On Tuesdays and Fridays, medical oncologist/hematologist Mary Albers MD, will staff the office. On Thursday, Kurt Leuenberger MD will see patients. Additionally, that office offers radiation oncology for your convenience. The phone number for this office is 812-537-1911.
· I can also refer you to a physician who meets your specific needs in the Batesville area.
If you have a scheduled appointment after December 12th, please contact our Batesville office so that we can transfer your records to the appropriate physician. If you have any additional questions, please contact Katie or Chrissy in our office, or feel free to call me at 812-934-3707.
It’s been a pleasure serving as your physician. I wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
David L. Kirlin, MD
