Swine Influenza (Flu) Precautions

Please read before entering the office

 

Oncology Hematology Care is making every effort to immediately identify patients who present signs and symptoms of the Influenza/Swine flu.

 

If you or a person accompanying you have the following symptoms

please read the instructions below BEFORE entering the office waiting room.

 

 

FEVER, COUGH, SORE THROAT, BODY ACHES, CHILLS AND FATIGUE

 

THE ABOVE SYMPTOMS WITH DIARRHEA AND VOMITING.

 

 

·         If you have the above symptoms (2 or more symptoms presented together) and are accompanied to the visit with someone, please do not enter the office.

 

·         Ask the person with you to go immediately to the front desk and provide the information about the situation.

 

·         The front desk will provide a mask for the patient and the person accompanying the visit.

 

·         The patient will be taken to a private area for immediate evaluation by a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Nurse Clinician.

 

·         If you are alone on the visit, please enter the office covering your mouth and request a mask from the front desk personnel.

 

·         Provide the information about the situation/your symptoms to the front desk staff member.
